Hello, I'm Rachel!


You may be looking for support because you are struggling with anxiety, depression or low mood, or other difficult emotions. Or you may be plagued by self-criticism resulting in low self-esteem. You may be trying to come to terms with traumatic experiences or loss, or perhaps find yourself repeating self-defeating life patterns. You may feel unhappy or dissatisfied but not understand why or where these feelings come from, or you may be hoping to find new ways to build personal or professional self-confidence and improve your relationships with others. 


I am an HCPC & BPS registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist (CPsychol) based in Petersfield, Hampshire & online, offering psychological assessment, consultation & therapy integrating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT),  Mindfulness-based approaches & Polyvagal Theory-informed interventions to help adults achieve a healthier more fulfilling life.

From working in the NHS and private practice for over 20 years, I have had the privilege of offering therapy to help people overcome a wide range of frequently experienced difficulties such as: anxiety disorders, low mood, depression and emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, self-criticism, shame and other mental health concerns. 


I  have a specialist interest, training, and experience in supporting people with complex issues which may have emerged from a difficult childhood and trauma.
